FAD Officer & Board Member Candidacy

Interested in serving the Florida Association of the Deaf?
We invite qualified members to apply for Officer and Board Member positions.

Eligibility & Commitment

Candidates must:
✔ Be a current FAD member
✔ Have at least 6 months of Florida residency
✔ Be willing to serve a 2-year term
✔ Attend mandatory board training
✔ Begin service within 60 days after being sworn in

Candidacy Form Due: February 26, 2026
Candidate Names Posted: March 19, 2026

Election: March 27, 2026

If no candidates are submitted for a position by February 26, the Election Committee may accept candidacy documents prior to the Conference Business Meeting on March 27, 2026.
