Hello members and friends,

What a beautiful spring day!

Let you know that we will have a workshop called  DEAF-BLIND by Cheryl Rhodes and Harry Anderson at the 7th Day Adventist Church, Lady Lake  on March 15th, Wednesday, at 1:30 p.m. .  This topic is to understand Deaf-blindness:

                         * Types of deaf-blindness

                          * Mode of Communications

                          * SSPs and Interpreting Services

After the workshop we will have a social and refreshment. Invite your friends to attend there.  Everyone is welcome.

The TCAD Executive Board Meeting will be held on March 8th at Ken Howe's home at 1:30 p.m.

The General meeting will be on April 19th. Following after the general meeting, we will have a guest speaker from LifeLinks.  Sign up for free lifelink web cam, and door prizes. 

The Highlights:

The FAD Board Meeting will be held on March 17th, Friday evening at 6 p.m. at the ASL Services, Inc, 3700 Commerce Blvd. Suite 108 Kissimmee, Fl.

The DeafNation Expo will be held on March 18th  at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Fl from 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free.

There will be a DEAF/HARD OF HEARING  RALLY on March 21 in Tallahasee to share with your legislators with your concerns about equal accessibility, interpreter licensure, captioning, emergency preparedness, employment and education.

On March 25th, Saturday,  Sprint and CSD will give a presentation  in the Villages from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m at La Hacienda, The Villages (Lady Lake).  There will be also few skits by a famous deaf actor from California. His  name is John M.   Also, Sprint will provide refreshment.   It is open to the Village residents and anyone outside The Villages.  Come and enjoy!!!
